Creative Learning MarketPlaceTuesday, 28th September 2010, 2.00pm to 5.30pm The Courtyard The Creative Learning MarketPlace is an opportunity for Creative Practitioners such as dancers, visual artists, film makers, musicians, circus performers, bakers or creative horticulturalists, primarily from Herefordshire to promote themselves to the education sector, including nurseries, children centre’s, primary schools, secondary schools, pupil referral units, youth centres and all those working in Children Services and Learning.

All courses are specifically designed for local artists in Herefordshire and feature specialist tutors. With Hannah McSherry, Project Development Officer. 10 to 1pm £12 Working in Schools – Thur 18th Nov - techniques, projects, expectations with Annie Millen, Arts Learning officer and education artist Adrian Higgins 10 to 1pm £15 Fine Art Portfolios – Jan 13th – curator and art writer Matt Price returns to assess artist’s portfolios. Hour long, one-to-one sessions with Matt to prepare your portfolio for presentation to galleries and creative opportunities. Timeslots 9 to 5pm available £40 each Marketing – Feb 17th – simple selling strategies and free marketing tricks to get you connecting to customers at markets and online. 10 to 1pm £12 Effective Applications – Mar 8th – how to apply for shows and exhibitions, how to get into galleries. 10 to 12pm £8 All sessions at Plough Lane, Hereford
