On this page we plan to provide website addresses for useful regional and national agencies and supportive bodies, including funders.

The list provided is not exhaustive and is not intended to include, for example, individual artists website links. We will add to the list with sites that appear to provide particularly useful information for artists working in Herefordshire across all artforms.

www.craftscouncil.org.uk - the national development agency for contemporary craft in the UK. Site includes funding information, development resources and opportunities and information about Crafts Magazine.

www.artscouncil.org.uk - developing and promoting the arts across England. Site includes information about the funding scheme, Grants for the Arts, regional offices, current priorities and an extensive list of publications and guidance sheets.

www.screenwm.co.uk - agency for film, television and digital media in the West Midlands. Site includes funding information, skills development, access and partnerships, screenings and events.

www.ism.org - Incorporated Society of Musicians. The UK's professional body for musicians. Aims to promote art of music and the interests of musicians, raise standards in the profession and give members best available advice and services. Information about membership rates on the site. Site also includes range of information sheets, including guidance about professional fees.

www.voluntaryarts.org - the development agency for the voluntary arts. Site includes events, publications, funding news, training and extensive selection of information sheets.

www.governmentfunding.org.uk - government supported site for grants for the voluntary and community sector.

www.communitydance.org.uk - The Foundation for Community Dance, the UK development agency for access, participation and progression in dance for all. The site offers information about the organisation and about community dance in the UK and beyond. Also provides membership details and listing of professional development opportunities and jobs.

www.hlf.org.uk - Heritage Lottery Fund website, includes details about grants involving a wide range of projects involving local, regional and national heritage of the UK. Also includes links to the regional West Midlands office and range of grant schemes available.

www.biglotteryfund.org.uk - Big Lottery Fund, includes details of current grant programmes available, case studies and links to regions. Big Lottery is responsible for giving out half the money for good causes with a budget of about £630 million a year.

www.awardsforall.org.uk - Awards for All, supporting by Arts Council England, Big Lottery, Heritage Lottery Fund and Sport England. Gives grants of between £300 and £10,000 for people to take part in art, sport, heritage and community activities and projects that promote education, the environment and health in the local community. Full details available on the website.

www.acf.org.uk - Association of Charitable Foundations, membership association for trusts and foundations in the UK with over 300 members. Includes listing of members with links to each organisations website. Valuable resource for sourcing funding for projects and provides advice on applying.

www.comfirst.org.uk - Community First, offers advice and information on best practice and support for local voluntary organisations in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Site includes range of information, including link to information about Elmley Small Grants Arts Fund. Site includes officer contact details and forms to download.
