Artery is a newsletter published by Herefordshire Council Cultural Services. It primarily offers news and opportunities of relevance to Herefordshire artists and crafts people.Many of these opportunities are also relevant to people from other counties.
Nature of Opportunities
Cultural Services officers receive news and opportunities from other local authorities and from arts organisations based locally, regionally and nationally. Many of these notices have short deadlines and limited distribution - Artery is one of the few places to get them.We receive these notices in good faith and publish them without being able to guarantee them. Artists and crafts people need to check out each opportunity for themsleves.
Getting into Artery from outside Herefordshire
Artery is paid for by Herefordshire Council and is free to people living in the county. For those outside Herefordshire we will let you have access - but at a cost. We need a contribution to the expenses of the website.Currently we are charging £9 for a whole year of access to Artery (that's 75p per month). You can send a cheque to us made out to 'Herefordshire Council' - send to:

If you want to join Artery part way through the year we will charge you a proportion of the £9 yearly cost. So if we are 2 months into the year (we start in July each year) then that would be 10 x 75p = £7.50 subsrciption.
Artery paid subscriptions come up for renewal every July.
